“Since first developing the Redundant Contact™ for high-speed IC testing applications, we have proceeded very cautiously in sharing data on the architecture and material make-up of our contact solution,” Vinther said. “Now that the patent has been issued on the Redundant Contact™ and we have a strong base of customers in production with our solution, we have decided to reveal the salient characteristics of our system to the general public.”

Redundant Contacts™ are available from Ardent in quantities of 50-500K pieces immediately. The company provides detailed instructions and design assistance. Custom designs are available.
